Research Description

In my research, I am investigating the nutrient use efficiency (NUE) of crop plants. By characterising the functionally conserved genes associating nutrient transporter and HY5 between dicot (Arabidopsis thaliana) and monocot (Oryza sativa), I am uncovering the molecular function of HY5 which would allow for improving crop yields.
