Current Biology: Widespread mistaken identity in tropical plant collections

Thu November 19th, 2015

One of our DPhil (PhD) students Zoë Goodwin has published some fascinating research in collaboration with members of the department and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. This research shows that up to half of all natural history specimens held in the world's museums could be wrongly named.

The University of Oxford press release links to the full publication (Current Biology) as well as media coverage about the study. See here for further details:

BBC World Service interviewed Zoë for newshour (podcast) and Zoë also spoke to National Public Radio (podcast).
