UNIQ Summer School - a glimpse of life as an Oxford student

Tue July 4th, 2017

Next week we will welcome a group students from the UNIQ summer school program into the Department  during their week immersed in life as biological sciences students at Oxford.

We have worked together with members of both Zoology and Plants to curate a programme that gives the students a taste of what it’s like to study here at Oxford, equipping them with tools to be successful in the application and interview process.

This is a wonderful opportunity for us as Department to engage the next generation of biological scientists as they explore their next steps in further education.

Find out more about UNIQ here: https://www.uniq.ox.ac.uk

Tash attended UNIQ in 2011 and went on to apply to study Biological Sciences here at Oxford. After finishing her degree in 2016, she went on to be a UNIQ mentor for the 2016 intake, encouraging the students in the way that she had been encouraged back in 2011!

Be sure to follow along on social media next week as we share what our UNIQ students get up to during there time here!
